Pendulum
Generally billed as a drum & bass group, the Australian-bred/U.K.-based band Pendulum fuses electronica with an energetic rock aesthetic, resulting in a propulsive techno-fuelled sound. While the ensemble, masterminded by frontman Rob Swire, garnered attention for its dynamic 2005 debut, HOLD YOUR COLOUR, Pendulum truly took off in earnest with its second album, IN SILICO, which introduced the act to American audiences and showcased its heavier, rock-oriented direction, particularly on the fierce single "Granite."
